IKUN (including services provided through the App and other products) is developed and operated by IKUN LTD (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). We place great importance on protecting users’ (hereinafter referred to as “you” or “your”) personal information and privacy. When you use IKUN, we may collect, use, store, and share relevant personal information about you. To explain how we process your personal information, we have established this IKUN Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy”), and we undertake to process your personal information strictly in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

(1) How We Collect Your Personal Information

During your use of IKUN, we collect your personal information in the following ways:

1. Basic Use

To ensure the proper operation of IKUN and to improve and optimize our service experience, we collect log-related information including your device model, operating system, unique device identifiers (such as Android ID or Advertising ID on Android devices), IP address, software version number, network access method, network type and status, network quality data, device accelerometer information (such as gravity sensing devices), operation logs, and service logs (such as records generated when you use IKUN synchronization services or interact with the official IKUN website). Such information is basic information necessary for us to provide the Services.

2. Completing Registration

When you register an IKUN account, we need to collect your username. We collect this information to help you complete registration for an IKUN cloud synchronization account and to protect the security of your account. If you do not provide this information, we will be unable to create an account for you or normally provide cloud synchronization services.

3. Data Synchronization

When you use cloud services, we need to collect your current bookmarks, scripts, ad-blocking subscription rules, and settings. We collect this information to enable the normal use of our synchronization services, allow data to be shared across different devices, complete data synchronization, and improve your user experience. If you do not provide this information, you will be unable to use the synchronization services.

4. Scanning QR Codes

When you use the QR code scanning function, we need to request camera permission for scanning. In addition, to improve scanning accuracy, we read the device sensor list and use gravity, accelerometer, and gyroscope sensor information to identify the orientation of your device.

5. Downloading Files

When you use the download function, we request storage permission to save files. In addition, to make it convenient for you to view download progress, we request notification permission in order to display download progress notifications.

6. Third-Party Extensions

To expand and improve application functionality and provide a better experience, we also collect information about the list of software installed on your device locally. The collected software-list information is stored only on the user’s device and is not used for analysis or transmitted to remote servers. We request information about the WebView version available on your device in order to enable certain supported features. We also detect available third-party download managers and third-party video players on your device so that we can offer them as options for you to use.

7. Opening Links

When IKUN receives shared information, or when you actively choose to paste text, we access your clipboard locally in order to extract links or search keywords so that we can open webpages or search text. We do not collect your clipboard information.

(2) Device Permissions We Use

During your use of IKUN, we may need to request device permissions within the necessary scope. Please note that we do not enable permissions on your device by default. Only after you actively confirm and enable a permission may IKUN collect information through that device permission. The permissions used by IKUN, their purposes, whether we ask you before use, and whether users can disable them are listed below:

(3) How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect in accordance with this Policy and for the purposes of providing our Services.

Please note that all personal information you provide when using our Services will remain authorized for our use during the period in which you use our Services, unless you delete it or refuse our collection through system settings. When you cancel your account, we will stop using and delete your personal information.

We may compile statistics on the use of the Services we provide and may share such statistical information with the public or third parties for purposes including product development, service optimization, and security protection. Such statistical information does not contain any information that identifies you.

If we intend to use your personal information for a purpose not specified in this Policy, or to use information collected for a specific purpose for another purpose, we will first obtain your consent through an affirmative opt-in action by you.

(4) Other Rules

In accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and national standards, we may collect and use your relevant personal information without obtaining your authorization and consent in the following circumstances:

(1) Where it is related to our performance of obligations prescribed by laws and regulations;

(2) Where it is directly related to national security or national defense security;

(3) Where it is directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;

(4) Where it is directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments;

(5) Where it is necessary to protect major lawful rights and interests such as the life or property of the personal information subject or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain the individual’s authorization and consent;

(6) Where the personal information involved has been voluntarily disclosed to the public by the personal information subject or their guardian;

(7) Where it is necessary for entering into or performing a contract at the request of the personal information subject;

(8) Where personal information is collected from information lawfully disclosed to the public, such as lawful news reports or government information disclosures;

(9) Where it is necessary to maintain the safe and stable operation of the products or services provided, such as discovering and handling faults in the products or services.

II. How We Store Your Personal Information

We will retain your personal information only for the minimum period necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy and as required by applicable laws and regulations. After the foregoing retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.

Personal information collected and generated during our operations will be stored on servers, except in the following circumstances:

(1) Where laws expressly provide otherwise;

(2) Where we have obtained your explicit authorization;

(3) Where you actively request access to overseas services or take other actions on your own initiative.

Please note that information you voluntarily share or publicly disclose when using our Services may involve your own or others’ personal information, including sensitive personal information. Please exercise caution when sharing or publicly disclosing such information. If the information includes another person’s personal information, please obtain that person’s consent before sharing or publicly disclosing it.

Please be aware that, in accordance with applicable law, if we process personal information using technical measures and other necessary measures so that the data recipient cannot re-identify a specific individual and the data cannot be restored, sharing, transferring, or publicly disclosing such processed data does not require separate notice to you or your consent.

IV. How Third-Party Products or Services Obtain Your Personal Information

To provide you with richer and more complete functionality, we use the following third-party software development kits (“SDKs”) to provide Services to you. For details regarding how each SDK collects and uses information, please refer to the privacy policy or relevant statement of the SDK provider. The third-party SDKs currently integrated into IKUN are as follows:

1. Firebase Analytics

Provider: Google LLC

Version: Firebase BoM 34.17.0 (firebase-analytics)

Purpose: In-app event statistics and product analytics

Data Collected: App instance identifiers; device/installation-related identifiers (through Google Play services, which may include Advertising ID); custom events (such as page-view counts and feature usage). Website click events may include website titles and URLs (truncated).

Purpose of Use: Analyze feature usage and improve the product

Processing Method: Transmitted to Google and processed in accordance with Firebase / Google Analytics for Firebase policies

User Control: No separate data-collection disable switch is provided; identifiers become invalid in accordance with system Advertising ID settings / app uninstallation

Purpose: Crash and ANR diagnostics

Data Collected: Crash stack traces, device model, OS version, app version, process state, and other diagnostic information; generally does not include webpage URLs or chat message content

Purpose of Use: Stability monitoring and defect remediation

Processing Method: Transmitted to Google

User Control: No separate data-collection disable switch is provided

3. Firebase-Related Transitive Dependencies

Components: Firebase Installations, Firebase Measurement / Sessions, and others (included with Analytics and Crashlytics)

Purpose: Support installation and session identifiers used by Analytics / Crashlytics

Data Collected: Installation-/instance-related identifiers and metadata required for SDK operation

Processing Method: Transmitted to Google

4. Google Play Services (Included with Firebase)

Provider: Google LLC

Purpose: Advertising identifiers and basic Google APIs (used by Firebase)

Data Collected: May read device identifiers such as Advertising ID, subject to system and user settings

Processing Method: Processed by Google Play services / Firebase in accordance with Google policies

5. ML Kit Barcode Scanning

Purpose: Camera-based scanning (including QR codes)

Data Collected: Camera images are recognized locally on the device; recognition models may be downloaded and SDK diagnostic information may be reported to Google as part of normal ML Kit behavior

Purpose of Use: Scan codes to open links / populate the address bar

Processing Method: Recognition results are used locally; model-/diagnostic-related processing is handled in accordance with Google ML Kit policies

6. CameraX

Provider: AndroidX (Google)

Version: 1.6.1

Purpose: Camera preview and frame capture for scanning

Data Collected: Camera images are processed locally only; this library itself does not upload user content

Purpose of Use: Used together with ML Kit for scanning

V. How We Protect Your Personal Information

We place great importance on the security of personal information and take all reasonable and practicable measures to protect your personal information.

We use industry-standard data protection technologies and management measures, such as network isolation and data encryption, to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction of personal information.

Please be aware that although we will use our best efforts to ensure or safeguard the security of any information you send to us, the Internet environment is not 100% secure, and we assume no responsibility for risks or losses arising from or related to such insecurity.

In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, promptly inform you of the basic circumstances and possible impact of the security incident, measures we have taken or will take, recommendations that you can independently adopt to prevent or reduce risks, and remedial measures available to you. We will promptly notify you of the relevant circumstances through application push notifications, email, SMS, telephone, or other means. Where it is difficult to notify each personal information subject individually, we will publish an announcement in a reasonable and effective manner. At the same time, we will proactively report the handling of personal information security incidents to regulatory authorities as required.

VI. How You Can Manage Your Personal Information

While using IKUN, you may follow prompts on the relevant pages or contact us using the methods specified in this Privacy Policy to access, correct, or delete your personal information, change the scope of your authorization and consent, and exercise your right to cancel your account. We will respond to your requests in a timely manner.

1. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

If you wish to access or correct your personal information, you may click “[Menu] - [Settings]” and follow the on-screen instructions, or contact us using the methods specified in this Privacy Policy. We will respond to your request in a timely manner.

2. Deleting Your Personal Information

If you wish to delete your personal information, please refer to Section 4, Account Cancellation, and cancel your account, or contact us using the methods specified in this Privacy Policy. We will respond to your request in a timely manner.

3. Changing the Scope of Your Authorization and Consent

You may change the scope of your consent or withdraw your authorization through your device permission settings or by contacting us using the methods specified in this Privacy Policy.

Please understand that IKUN may need to enable certain permissions and collect necessary personal information in order to provide certain functions. When you withdraw your consent, we will no longer be able to provide the services corresponding to the withdrawn consent, but this will not affect personal information processing activities previously carried out based on your authorization.

4. Account Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your account, you may click “[Menu] - [Settings] - [Cancel Account]” and follow the on-screen instructions, or contact us using the methods specified in this Privacy Policy. We will respond to your request in a timely manner.

Cancellation of the above account is irreversible. We will stop providing products or services to you, stop collecting your personal information, and, at your request, delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account.

5. Responding to the Above Requests

If you are unable to exercise your rights using the methods described above, you may contact us using the contact information specified in this Privacy Policy. To protect security, you may need to submit a written request or otherwise verify your identity. We may first require you to verify your identity before processing your request.

In principle, we do not charge fees for reasonable requests. However, for requests that are repeatedly submitted or exceed reasonable limits, we may charge certain costs as appropriate. We may refuse requests that are groundlessly repetitive, require excessive technical means, create risks to the lawful rights and interests of others, or are highly impractical.

6. Exceptions to Our Response Obligations

We may be unable to respond to your request in the following circumstances:

(1) Where it is related to our performance of obligations prescribed by laws and regulations;

(2) Where it is directly related to national security or national defense security;

(3) Where it is directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;

(4) Where it is directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments;

(5) Where we have sufficient evidence showing that the personal information subject is acting with subjective malice or abusing their rights;

(6) Where it is necessary to protect major lawful rights and interests such as the life or property of the personal information subject or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent;

(7) Where responding to the request of the personal information subject would cause serious harm to the lawful rights and interests of the personal information subject or other individuals or organizations;

(8) Where trade secrets are involved.

VII. How We Process Minors’ Personal Information

We place great importance on protecting minors’ personal information. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, the collection and use of personal information of minors under the age of 14 requires authorization and consent from a guardian; for minors who are 14 years of age or older but under 18 years of age, the collection and use of personal information may be authorized and consented to either by a guardian or by the minor themselves.

If you are a minor (especially if you are under the age of 14), we require that your parents or other guardians carefully read this Privacy Policy and that you use our Services or provide information to us only after obtaining your guardian’s authorization and consent.
